On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and especially the patients of Mission of Mercy I thank you for all that you and your staff did to ensure that Mission of Mercy’s 10th Annual Gala was so successful. You played a tremendous part in helping us achieve our financial goal with this event which was especially critical this year as the need for our free medical and dental care and free prescription medications increased so dramatically.

Again, on behalf of all of the patients served through Mission of Mercy, I thank you for your support of our 10th Annual Gala.

Heartfelt thanks are extended to the entire Turf Valley Staff for making our 2010 Family Reunion an AWESOME 3-day weekend celebration! The Friday evening Meet & Greet Social Reception kicked off our weekend schedule of events with style. The food was excellent and needles to say the service. Whenever we need to make a room alteration the Turf Valley staff made it happen with patience and the utmost professionalism.

Wow…what can I say about the Saturday evening Family Banquet and Fashion Show? MAGNIFICENT!

Our entire family marvels at such a monumental occasion that will be remembered and talked about for years to come. I’m not sure how we will ever top this reunion but certainly we plan to do our best! Again, I’d like to say thanks for making this happen.

This year, the Department of Medicine from Walter Reed Army Medical Center held our annual retreat at Turf Valley. We had over 100 attendees and the reviews from the event are excellent. I wanted you to know that our Faculty Curriculum Planning Conference was the most successful ever!

A large part of the success can be attributed to the ambiance of the resort, but most of it was due to your staff’s excellent planning and wonderful service. The food was delicious for the Thursday night dinner and the Friday luncheon received rave reviews. The chef was so accommodating and helpful with my last minute requests. The quality of the meal was excellent! Your Banquet Managers were most helpful and assisted me in every way possible. All of the staff was gracious and most hospitable. Everyone was extremely helpful and there was nothing that any of the staff did not do to make us feel comfortable.

I wanted to tell you how fantastic it was to be at Turf Valley for this year’s Governor’s Conference on Tourism. After all the functions I have attended there, this was my first opportunity to be an overnight guest. It was a delightful experience.

The hotel looked beautiful. Your front desk, housekeeping and meeting service staff all did a marvelous job to ensure things went smoothly. The grounds – as always – were impressive. The view from my window was rejuvenating and with the schedule I was keeping for the Conference, I needed that!

On behalf of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Women’s Retreat Committee, I want to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff at Turf Valley for our extremely enjoyable and rewarding experience. Our Women’s Retreat was a resounding success, and much of that success is directly attributed to the excellent accommodations and customer service provided by the staff at Turf Valley. Every one of our needs were met in a timely manner and even on those rare occasions when we were faced with what we considered an obstacle, a member of the Turf Valley staff was there to provide us with a satisfactory solution.

Our living accommodations, conference rooms and other amenities contributed in a major way to our being able to enjoy one of our most relaxing and spiritual retreats in recent memory. Throughout the period of the retreat, we were given Class A service, which I truly believe raises the bar for our future retreats. Turf Valley is truly an example of what hospitality is supposed to be.

We only have great things to say about our experiences at Turf Valley. The facility was beautiful and the food was delicious. The staff, however, was the key to making our experience exceptional. The level of attention that your staff paid to us made our meeting outstanding. The daytime staff checked on us and was always close by if we needed anything. One of our team was ill and remained in her room. Your staff fixed soup and a drink to be taken to her. On the last day someone else became very ill and your staff supplied a quiet place for her to rest with a pillow and blanket. Your banquet staff was also attentive, helpful and nearby at all times.

They were friendly and respected the time we used to present our awards. No one disappeared while the banquet was going on. Someone was always visible and willing to help.

Turf Valley turned out to be the perfect place for our conference. From the moment we pulled into Turf Valley to the moment we left we could not have been treated any nicer. The bellboys were courteous and friendly upon check-in as was the front desk staff. During the conference the front desk staff could not do enough for us and were always pleasant and accommodating. The food managers and their staff were also very friendly and efficient and went out of their way to help those who had special requests. The restaurant was excellent and the staff courteous and knowledgeable about the food and wines. The cleaning staff on my floor was efficient and friendly and understanding when I had to be in my room gathering conference materials at a time when they needed to clean.

In this busy world we live in it is always nice to come to a place that makes you feel special. Everyone at Turf Valley managed to do this for all of our people and we greatly appreciate all your efforts. Because of the excellent job everyone did at Turf Valley, one step in the process for our next meeting has been eliminated…choosing the meeting facility. We’re coming back to Turf Valley!
