Turf Valley Announces Serol Gurun as Director of Rooms

Ellicott City, Maryland - June 18, 2010 - Turf Valley located in Ellicott City, Maryland is pleased to announce the return of Serol Gürün to Turf Valley's Executive Team. Gürün will rejoin the property in July as the new Director of Rooms, supervising the Front Office and Housekeeping Departments.

Gürün's most recent employment was Director of Rooms and Spa for The Jefferson, a Relais & Chateaux Hotel in Washington, D.C. His background includes implementing Property Management Systems, developing Standard Operations and Service Procedures for Rooms Division and Spa and successfully launching The Spa at Jefferson, as well as recruiting and training new employees. Gürün’s knowledge and award-winning talent in the Hospitality Industry will be an asset to bringing Turf Valley’s 1,000 acre retreat to the next level.

Gürün graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Concentration in Sales & Marketing from Towson University. Continuing his education, Gürün earned his Master of Business Administration in Management from Mount Saint Mary's University in 2009.
