Turf Valley driving to beat last year’s Toys for Tots™ contribution

Ellicott City, Maryland – October 12, 2010 - Turf Valley officials announced on Tuesday that the property will again team up with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots™ Foundation. The program will begin on October 25th, lasting through December 17, 2010.

"We wanted to get an earlier start this year, so that we could beat last year’s contribution by a large margin!" said Cassandra Rashad, Revenue Manager and Turf Valley’s Toys for Tots program coordinator. "It’s all about the kids and we’re challenging our business partners, members and clients to contribute more this year. No child should be without a gift at Christmas."

As a thank you for making the holidays brighter for local children, those donating will receive their choice of one of the following discounts at Turf Valley:

• 20% off your hotel room rate for the first night of your stay
• 20% off any Single Spa Service
• 10% off any single item in the Golf Shop
• One Complimentary Appetizer or Dessert in Alexandra’s at Turf Valley

By donating to the program, local U.S. Marine Corps Reserve will be able to purchase and distribute toys for needy and disadvantaged children in the community. Toy donations must be New, Unwrapped Toys, ages 3 and up preferred. All discounts offers valid October 25th through Dec. 17th.
