Turf Valley was the most incredible wedding venue. I can not say enough good things about the staff, service and presentation. Jenny was always available leading up to the wedding to help us in the decision making process. On our wedding day and entire wedding weekend, Latisha was our right hand lady! Right before I was about to walk down the aisle with my mom and dad, my mom and I were nervous! Latisha looked at us, and reminded us that everything was going to be okay. She always made us feel so comfortable! The staff were truly INCREDIBLE.
What made you choose Turf Valley Resort as your venue?
Turf Valley is a very important place to us! Aside from my parents getting married in the exact ballroom as us 40 years prior, we felt most comfortable and welcomed at Turf Valley. We toured at a couple places prior to coming to Turf Valley. When we came to tour the facilities at Turf Valley, not only did the beautiful scenery stand out, but the wonderful people left us with such a warm feeling! We are so happy we chose Turf Valley as our wedding venue.
What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day?
We had several memorable moments on our wedding day, but the one that sticks out the most was seeing each other for the first time walking down the aisle. This will forever be the most incredible, most emotional moment of our life. The other moment that sticks out to us was being introduced into the Cameo ballroom as Mr. & Mrs. Brandt for the first time, being cheered on by all of our family and friends. It was the most incredible feeling to be surrounded by all the love and excitement!
Did you have any wedding must-haves that had to be part of your special day?
We had several must haves on our wedding day. For starters, the band.... We had the absolute BEST band. Kristin and The Noise were so interactive, and truly had amazing music. It was also very important to us to have our two uncles be able to sing at the reception, which our band welcomed with open arms. Another must have was our famous Italian cookies! Our family is very Italian, and my aunts/cousins get together a week before each family wedding to make Italian cookies for all the guests (yes, over 1000 cookies!). The last must have for us was a "first touch"! Josh and I never envisioned having a first look, and we are so happy we didn't! Seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle was hands down the BEST part of our wedding day!
