Our coordinator Jenny B. was so important to our wedding planning experience for the entire year. She knew absolutely everything, went above and beyond, had answers to all our questions, and really helped us feel good about everything. Any wedding planning nervousness was calmed by Jenny!
Similarly, our day-of coordinator Gloria was fabulous. She had everything under control and helped make our day so wonderful. She also helped us feel confident about everything going in. Lastly, the groom and groomsmen all went golfing on Friday before our rehearsal and had a great time and it was a great kick-off to the weekend. The course is so beautiful. A bunch of our guests did the same thing and I'm glad that it added to their weekend!
What made you choose Turf Valley Resort as your venue?
We loved the idea of having everything and everyone all in one place - the hotel, reception, after party, and even the golf course. It really ended up being such an asset to the whole weekend - we were able to have lots of quality time with all our loved ones, especially those who had to travel, and added to the convenience of our guests which always makes for a better experience. The service of every single employee working there is absolutely exceptional from start to finish. And the food is spectacular - every single thing we ate whenever we went to Turf Valley was outstanding.
What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day?
There were so many wonderful moments! Our favorite moment was when we were first introduced as a couple to the reception and had our first dance - seeing everyone we know and love all in the same place, celebrating our marriage, was very special. So was seeing everything finally come together after a year of planning - the decorations, DJ/music, lighting, flowers, bridal party outfits, food, etc.
Did you have any wedding must-haves that had to be part of your special day?
What we wanted out of our special day was that everyone would have a great time and that it was a fun party - and that definitely happened! The food, drinks, music and the space were all perfect.
