We are so grateful to the Turf Valley team for everything. Everyone played such an important part, especially Jenny, our amazing contact throughout planning, who answered my every question no matter how small; Chris and Gloria, our incredible go to people day of; and Reynard, our wonderful bartender. We truly had the most perfect wedding day and are so glad TVR is the home to one of our best memories. We can't wait to come back!

What made you choose Turf Valley Resort as your venue?

Turf Valley was actually the only venue we saw! We toured there March 14th, 2020 - days before the world shut down for Covid. Thankfully, as soon as we walked into the Terrace room and saw it overlooking the garden, we knew it was the space for us. We absolutely loved the casual but special, simple but romantic feel of both the Terrace and the Garden and knew they would be the perfect backdrop for our day. Especially once complete with lights and florals. Our decision to book Turf Valley was confirmed to be the best one as our planning process continued - everyone on staff was so kind and helpful, the food and drinks were phenomenal, the spaces were absolutely beautiful, and we loved the convenience of everything being in one place!

What was the most memorable moment from your wedding day?

From start to finish, the whole day was magical, but two big ones come to mind. The first is exchanging our vows. We wrote our own vows and even though it seemed a little scary at first, it was so perfect. It made our ceremony feel so intimate and very us, and we loved having a chance to share things about us and our relationship through those words. Both sets of vows were really, really beautiful and made both the bride and groom cry! The second thing that comes to mind is our last dance. Throughout the whole planning process, we said we wanted our day to be full of love and happiness and celebrating this incredible next chapter with our favorite people. Instead of doing a private last dance, we wanted to do a huge party last dance with all of our guests. We did it to Forever by Chris Brown (The Office, anyone?!) and it was so special jumping around, singing, and dancing with our closest friends and family and then having our photographer snap one last group photo. You can just tell there was so much love in that room.

Did you have any wedding must-haves that had to be part of your special day?

Our dog, Molly! We rescued her together in May 2016 and she's the absolute best. We referred to her as our "dog of honor". We had her there for our first look, through portraits, and then she walked down the aisle with Evan and sat front row for our ceremony. It was so special looking out from the alter and seeing her. We love looking back on our family portraits too, so special.

Congratulations to Taylor & Evan!
