Turf Valley Resort's Real Weddings Spotlight features Meredith and Wesley, who celebrated their wedding on August 7th, 2020. Their original wedding date of June 20th, 2020, was postponed due to the pandemic.
Meredith and Wesley's wedding ceremony was held in The Garden and their reception took place in the Wedgewood Ballroom. Each venue was set up to ensure social distancing among guests. Even with the circumstances, Meredith and Wesley were able to enjoy a beautiful wedding day while keeping the health and safety of their guests a top priority.

What were the most memorable moments from your wedding day?
I would say the most memorable moment for me was the first looks with my now husband, my dad and my brother. It was a special memory I will have forever. I will also cherish the time I got to spend with my mom throughout the day getting ready.
What made you choose Turf Valley Resort as your venue?
We loved that Turf Valley offered onsite catering and had a great option for a rain event. The landscaping was beautiful for pictures and our guests were able to stay overnight in the hotel.
Even more special, Meredith's parents were also married at Turf Valley in 1990!
Did you have any wedding must-haves for your special day?
A must for both of us, was taking the time to write our personal vows in a special card to each other. We also wanted to have an abundance of flowers and our florist gave us exactly what we wanted.
What was your favorite part of your ceremony and reception?
My favorite part of the ceremony was that we were able to get married! We also enjoyed the food because there were so many options. It was wonderful that we were able to celebrate with our closest family and friends.
What was your favorite part of the Turf Valley Wedding Experience?
Our favorite part of the experience was the staff! Everyone was so helpful and pleasant, including Carol and Jenny. Paul, our day of coordinator was so on top of everything, even making sure we had water outside during our pictures.
We want to thank Turf Valley Resort for going above and beyond to make our day so special. With the circumstances we were dealt, Turf Valley made our wedding feel safe and fun at the same time.
