What made you choose Turf Valley Resort as your venue?
Chris and I were amazed with how beautiful the ceremony site was as well as the reception area. Turf Valley's location was also suitable for our guests to get ready for the day of and stay after the celebration. We also read reviews of other wedding couples and everyone praised how amazing their weddings were at TVR so that was very reassuring.
What was your most memorable moment from your wedding day?
For our wedding song, Chris and I were able to have a choreographed first dance. We practiced very diligently to stun our guests! It was a great moment for the both of us and we were so happy we could share our hard work with everyone at the wedding.
Did you have any wedding must-haves that had to be part of your special day?
We have to say, without our Day of Coordinator, Katherine – Everything But The Vows, our wedding would not have been as smooth sailing. She and her assistant really helped alleviate the stress one would have for the big day!
Did anything change because of the pandemic?
We had to reduce the number of guests, however Jaime, Turf Valley Resort's Catering Account Executive, was very accommodating and even gave us the option to move to a bigger venue to accommodate guest capacity and social distancing rules. Though we were very grateful for the option, we decided to keep our original venue. Although we couldn't have all the guests we wanted to have with us physically, we were able to livestream our wedding for everyone else which is what's trending now with pandemic weddings!
