Stay Safely at Turf Valley Resort

  • The hotel at Turf Valley Resort is open.
  • Alexandra's American Fusion is open daily for lunch and dinner. Breakfast in the restaurant is available Wednesday - Sunday from 7am - 11am.
  • Alexandra's is closed for breakfast Monday & Tuesday. A complimentary boxed breakfast is available at the front desk on Monday & Tuesday, 7am to 10am for registered guests.  
  • Room Service and To-Go Orders are also available. View Restaurant Hours.
  • Our Fitness Center and Indoor Pool are open.
  • The Spa at Turf Valley is open. Please call 410-203-2755 to make your spa reservation.

Q HAS TURF VALLEY RESORT BEEN OPEN DURING THE ENTIRE PANDEMIC?
A We voluntarily closed the entire property for a temporary period in 2020, including the hotel, restaurant, spa, banquet department and golf courses. We reopened each area as the restrictions were lifted and as business demands. We dedicated the closure to enhance our health and hygiene programs, which you can read more about here. Our commitment involves some changes to our operations and services to meet the new health and safety requirements.
Q ARE THE GOLF COURSES CURRENTLY OPEN?
A The Hialeah Golf Course is currently undergoing a renovation with a reopening date of June 2022. Tee times are currently not available for hotel guests. We recommend nearby Waverly Woods for any tee time requests.
Q IS THE OUTDOOR POOL CURRENTLY OPEN?
A
The outdoor pool is open for the season from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. 
Q IS THE FITNESS CENTER OPEN?
A Yes, the fitness center is open 24 hours daily.
Q WHAT CAN I EXPECT UPON CHECKING IN TO THE HOTEL?
A We have a new Turf Valley App to minimize contact during the  check-in and check-out process. Through the app you can alert our front desk team  when you arrive. They will also notify you via the app when your room is ready.  Room keys will be sanitized prior to each use.
Q IS ALEXANDRA'S RESTAURANT OPEN?

Q IS THE SPA OPEN?
A The Spa is open by appointment only. You can make your appointment by calling the spa at 410.203.2755. Read about the changes that we have made to the spa experience here.
Q DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?

At this time, masks are optional for guests and employees. 
Q HOW ARE YOU HANDLING SOCIAL DISTANCING FOR MY EVENT?
A We are following all the guidelines from the CDC and MDH. Buffets are currently an option and are selected by the client event organizer. All buffet stations will feature a sanitizing station and optional gloves. 
Q IS THERE ANY CHANGE IN THE MENU FOR BANQUETS – WEDDINGS, MEETINGS, CONFERENCES?
A We offer a variety of options on our catering and wedding menus.

Q WHAT CLEANING/SAFETY MEASURES ARE IN PLACE?
A We have increased cleaning schedules on all high touch areas and added additional hand sanitizer stations throughout the property and in all event spaces. We have added the use of an electrostatic sprayer to our cleaning protocols. In addition, we have implemented a new training program for all our team members, to update them on the protocols regarding COVID-19 and our heightened measures to create a safe environment. Q IS IT SAFE TO STAY AT TURF VALLEY RESORT?
A Yes, we are confident that our cleaning and disinfecting standards ensure a safe environment for our guests. Our enhanced protocols to our standard operating procedures include a high focus on disinfecting touch points within hotel rooms, new procedures for handling dirty linens, single-use amenities, individually wrapped & disposable cups and new “Clean Remotes”.
Q ARE INDIVIDUAL RESERVATIONS CANCELLABLE DURING COVID-19?
A To ensure flexibility for travel in the current environment, your reservation may be cancelled or modified up to 48-hours prior to your arrival without any penalty. We remain committed to working with our guests when you are ready and comfortable to travel.
Q ARE GOLF OUTINGS SAFE TO ATTEND AT TURF VALLEY?
A Yes, Turf Valley has established a list of COVID-19 protocols for all golf outings.
