We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and team members. Turf Valley Resort's health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures. As we welcome you back into our venue, we remain committed to this promise.


We continue to monitor news and guidelines from local and state government, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and we are vigilantly following their advice to keep you healthy.

Increased amount of hand disinfecting stations throughout the property and complimentary disinfecting wipes.

Face masks are required for all staff, in accordance with CDC Guidelines. Some employees may wear gloves as appropriate.

Signage and distance indicators will be used throughout the hotel in high-traffic areas to allow  for proper social distancing.


Minimized contact points throughout several departments through wireless technology.

Increased our cleaning schedules & procedures to ensure high-touch areas are attended to more regularly, with even more vigorous cleaning methods.

Modified queues & reconfigured floorplans to allow six feet of distance, as well as elevator occupancy limits.

Promote a Healthy Team Environment by updating and re-training our Hygiene & Sanitation Training Program, daily health screenings upon arrival to work, increased hand washing, and strictly enforce our sick leave policy.

A No, we voluntarily closed the entire property for a temporary period, including the hotel, restaurant, spa, banquet department and golf courses. We reopened each area as the restrictions were lifted and as business demands. We dedicated the closure to enhance our health and hygiene programs, which you can read more about here. Our commitment involves some changes to our operations and services to meet the new health and safety requirements.
A Yes, we were able to reopen the golf courses on May 7th exclusively for our membership, in compliance with restrictions set forth by the state.

The golf courses will undergo an extensive renovation starting in August, and therefore tee times are not currently available to hotel guests. We recommend nearby Waverly Woods for any tee time requests.
The outdoor pool is currently closed for the season and will reopen Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 29th. 

A Yes, the fitness center is open 24 Hours Daily, with occupancy restrictions, physical distancing modifications and a stringent cleaning process.
A We have a new Turf Valley App to minimize contact during the  check-in and check-out process. Through the app you can alert our front desk team  when you arrive. They will also notify you via the app when your room is ready.  Room keys will be sanitized prior to each use.

We ask that you practice social distancing by following the  queues at the front desk as well as the occupancy limits in the elevators. 
Yes, we are open daily for Breakfast from 7am to 11am, Lunch from 11am to 2pm and Dinner from 5pm to 9pm. 

We also offer happy hour drink specials from 5:00 – 7:00pm, Monday thru Friday. Every Sunday, we offer a special Brunch Menu from 11am to 2pm.

Turf Valley Resort prides itself on creating a safe environment for our staff and our guests. We do require that masks be worn throughout the property. 

Once you are seated in the restaurant for meal service or in your contracted event space, masks can be removed. 

Masks are also required to enter the Pool Area, when using the restrooms and should be worn whenever possible outside of the water. 

All Turf Valley Staff will be wearing masks throughout the property.
A We are following all the guidelines from the CDC and MDH. Groups  of no more than six people, with each table 6' apart will be followed  throughout the property. Buffets will be served by the Turf Valley Staff. Lines  will be controlled, and queues will be in place to ensure proper distancing  between guests. Masks will be required for all guests while going through any  lines. 
A We offer a variety of options on our menu, though we have  minimized the selections. Continental Breakfast and Break options will be boxed. All buffets will be served by Turf Valley Resort Staff.
A We have increased cleaning schedules on all high touch areas and added additional hand sanitizer stations throughout the property and in all event spaces. We have added the use of an electrostatic sprayer to our cleaning protocols. In addition, we have implemented a new training program for all our team members, to update them on the protocols regarding COVID-19 and our heightened measures to create a safe environment. A Yes, we are confident that our cleaning and disinfecting standards ensure a safe environment for our guests. Our enhanced protocols to our standard operating procedures include a high focus on disinfecting touch points within hotel rooms, new procedures for handling dirty linens, single-use amenities, individually wrapped & disposable cups and new “Clean Remotes”.
A To ensure flexibility for travel in the current environment, your reservation may be cancelled or modified up to 24-hours prior to your arrival without any penalty. We remain committed to working with our guests when you are ready and comfortable to travel.
