Director of Golf
As Resident Director of Golf, Nick Spinnato, oversees all golf operations including golf instruction and organizing golf tournaments and events.
Nick started at Turf Valley Resort in 1993 and has been involved in all facets of golf throughout career. He attended Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC where he studied business administration with a concentration in professional golf management. He held several positions at both public and private courses, prior to coming to Turf Valley Resort.
Head Golf Professional
Head Golf Pro, Craig Day has been a member of the Turf Valley family since 1970, the same year he was elected to PGA membership. He began his career at Turf Valley when the property changed ownership to the Mangione family in 1978. Craig was promoted to Head Golf Pro in 1990 and became a member of the PGA Quarter Century Club in 1995. Craig celebrates over 50 years at Turf Valley and continues to focus on providing first class service. He is responsible for managing golf outings, tournaments and overseeing golfers on the courses.
Assistant Golf Professional
Chuck has been with Turf Valley Resort for more than 15 years. He studied the golf swing and teaching aspects while working with Bob Freer, PGA. Chuck is a certified fitter for Cobra and Titleist. With his knowledge of clubs and shafts, he has a passion for finding the right golf equipment to bring out the best in the golfer.
He uses the latest in technology with the Trackman Radar system, for his fitting and teaching. He likes to analyze a golfer's swing with V1 software. Chuck's teaching philosophy is to keep the golf swing as simple and repeatable as possible.
Director of Instruction
Damon Lucas is a highly tenured, successful golf professional with the complete range of skills. He has run successful programs over the past twenty years as a golf professional. His approach is highly tailored to the full range of golfer needs by focusing on instructional, physical, emotional, and motivational. Damon has a long history of success with tour level and handicap golfers of all age ranges. He has made a significant investment in personal skill development and technology to ensure the latest thinking and tools can be incorporated in client approach.

Lead Instructor & Master Custom Fitter
An active PGA member, Parker has more than 28 years' experience in teaching, custom fitting, and competitive play. He captained the golf team at Towson University and has a low round of 64. Prior to joining the team at Turf Valley Resort, he provided quality instruction at Bulle Rock, Lake Presidential, Green Spring Valley Hunt Club, The Elkridge Club and The Breaker Ocean Course in Palm Beach, FL. He brings a wealth of knowledge, having taught more than 20K lessons and is well versed in the latest custom fitting cycles. He has coached and mentored two U.S. Amateur qualifiers, a Maryland State Amateur Champion, a Mid-Atlantic Amateur Champion and two Maryland State Junior Champions. In addition, he has helped 21 juniors earn college golf scholarships. Parker takes great pride in shaping each player's skills and stresses the importance of a solid short game. He has a true passion for teaching and shares this with all his students.
Justin has excellent knowledge of the game and the golf swing. He communicates this knowledge effectively to all levels of golfers. He demonstrates an unfailing dedication towards helping his students improve their abilities and interest for the game. Justin's keen eye for detecting faults and his ability to prescribe clear solutions allows him to correct the cause of the problem. His mission is to help his students become their own best teachers by achieving their short-term goals with an eye on producing long-term results.
Justin has 20 years of teaching experience at multiple facilities. He started his career at Baltimore Country Club, moved to P.B. Dye Golf Club for one season, then moved to Hayfields Country Club for 11 seasons as an assistant professional and teaching professional. Justin attended Campbell University in Buies Creek North Carolina, studying in the PGM program. He also graduated from MBC&S in Maryland.
